Abstract : Homo sapiens SNORD19B snoRNA. This C/D box snoRNA was characterized by Yang et al. (2006) using the snoSeeker software. Its expression was experimentally verified by Northern blot. Both SNORD19 (HBII-108) and SNORD19B reside in the same host gene and are predicted to guide the 2’O-ribose methylation of 18S rRNA G683. This snoRNA is incorrectly named SNORD117 in Yang et al. (2006) and in GenBank file AM413023 , and should not be confused with U83 (approved HGNC symbol SNORD117).
