Abstract : Homo sapiens C/D box snoRNA HBII-180B. This snoRNA is an human orthologue of the mouse MBII-180 and MBII-211 snoRNAs cloned by Hüttenhofer et al. (2001). It is predicted to guide the 2'O-ribose methylation of 28S rRNA C3680. Two closely related copies, HBII-180A and HBII-180C, reside in the same host gene (RefSeq MGC13170).
