Abstract : Homo sapiens C/D box snoRNA HBII-420. This snoRNA was cloned from HeLa cells (A. Kiss and T. Kiss, unpublished) and is the human orthologue of the mouse MBII-420 described by Hüttenhofer et al. (2001). HBII-420 is predicted to guide the 2'O-ribose methylation of 28S rRNA A2774. HBII-420 shares the same host gene (AF277181) with the three H/ACA box snoRNAs ACA16, ACA44 and ACA61.
