Abstract : Homo sapiens U108 snoRNA. This H/ACA box RNA was cloned by Gu et al. (2005) from blood cells by an RT-PCR method that preferentially amplifies H/ACA box snoRNAs. Its expression was evidenced by Northern blot. From base-pairing prediction, it could guide the pseudouridylation of the U372 residue in the 28S rRNA. However, this position has not been reported as a pseudouridylation site.
