SNORD15Bsmall nucleolar RNA, C/D box 15B
snoid : SR0000063
Length : 146
Abstract : Homo sapiens C/D box snoRNA U15B. This snoRNA is a close paralogue of the snoRNA U15A that was cloned from an extract of HeLa cells immuniprecipitated with an anti-fibrillarin antibody by Tycowski, Shu and Steitz. (1993). Both are predicited to guide the 2'O-ribose methylation of 28S rRNA A3764 (Kiss-Laszlo et al. 1996). U15B and U15A reside in the same host gene (RPS3).
