SNORA16Bsmall nucleolar RNA, H/ACA box 16B
snoid : SR0000038
Length : 133
Abstract : Homo sapiens H/ACA box snoRNA U98b. This snoRNA was first cloned from a mouse cDNA library by Hüttenhofer et al. (2001) and named MBII-367. The human orthologue was found by homology search, and its expression was verified by Northern blot (Vitali et al., 2003). A close paralogue, U98a (AY349598) was independently cloned by Kiss et al.(2004), and named ACA16 (AJ609433). Both U98b and ACA16 have no identified RNA target.
GenBank accession number : AY349599
Host gene : PPP2R5A (protein phosphatase 2, regulatory subunit B (B56), alpha isoform)
