SNORD1Asmall nucleolar RNA, C/D box 1A
snoid : SR0000252
Length : 72
Abstract : Homo sapiens C/D box snoRNA snR38A. This snoRNA is a human orthologue of the mouse snR38 snoRNA cloned by Zhou et al. (2004). It is predicted to guide the 2'O-ribose methylation of 28S rRNA G4362, although this methylated base was not mapped by Maden (1990). Two related copies, snR38B and snR38C, reside in the same host gene (UniGene cluster Hs.281434).
