Abstract : Homo sapiens C/D box snoRNA U15A. This snoRNA was cloned from an extract of HeLa cells immuniprecipitated with an anti-fibrillarin antibody by Tycowski, Shu and Steitz. (1993). It is predicited to guide the 2'O-ribose methylation of 28S rRNA A3764 (Kiss-Laszlo et al. 1996). A related copy, U15B, resides in the same host gene (RPS3).
