SNORD85small nucleolar RNA, C/D box 85
snoid : SR0000011
Length : 75
Abstract : Homo sapiens C/D box snoRNA HBII-251. This snoRNA is the human orthologue of the mouse MBII-251 described by Hüttenhofer et al. (2001). HBII-251 is predicted to guide the 2'O-ribose methylation of 18S rRNA G601. HBII-251 and the two copies of the C/D box snoRNA U103 share the same host gene (PUM1).
GenBank accession number :
Host gene : PUM1 (pumilio homolog 1 (Drosophila), RNA-binding protein that regulates translation and mRNA stability by binding the 3'UTR of mRNAs).
